Cruising Berlin, June 15, 2010

Got up to another overcast day but the sun came out again in the afternoon. This morning we went on a sightseeing cruise on the Spree River which runs through Berlin. You get to see most of what you see on a bus tour but at a very different perspective. The cruise takes about 3 hours but we got off at the half-way point as we wanted to go and visit Charlottenburg Palace.
Rita in a blanket as we go under one of the many low bridges
Going past Museum Island and one of its connecting bridges
One of the many waterfront bars. This one has hundreds of lie-lows for the summer season
